The Sir Rebral Seven - Week 6

After last week’s hot record of 5-1-1 for the Sir Rebral Seven and 15-10-1 (60%) overall, I’ve got big dreams to rinse and repeat for Week 6. And I think it’s doable.

For the last five weeks, I’ve shared my analysis and selects for the Sir Rebral Seven (along with my entire slate) with everybody. With big wins both behind and in front of us, I’m changing things up. Every week, I’ll share two Free Selects from the week’s games that I find interesting. I’ll let you know what my analysis is and why I picked these Selects. The Sir Rebral Seven, however, will be for my premium subscribers only. I’m on a tear with the Sir Rebral Seven going 20-12-3 (63%) through 5 weeks, and we’re only going up from here.

Here are my quarterback rankings after week 5, now that we have had plenty of time to evaluate guys. Brock Purdy and Jared Goff have moved up a lot, and Jordan Love and Mac Jones have plummeted to the bottom.

Free Selects

LV -3 v NE, and UNDER 41.5

The Patriots are dead last in the league in scoring, averaging 11 points per game this season. The Raiders are better than that, but they are also towards the bottom, having not eclipsed 20 points once all year. This matchup against the Patriots defense won’t be terribly easy, as they are at least still somewhat competitive (unlike their offense!).

The Patriots are quite simply a terrible team right now, and they are not priced appropriately on the market. The Raiders should be favored by a touchdown or more. While the Raiders are no world-beaters, they are handily better than Belichick’s league-worst Patriots.
